About the Practice
This medical office, located in a renovated Victorian house in the heart of the downtown historic district of Ithaca, New York, offers internal medicine and specialized care in endocrinology for adults over the age of sixteen. Dr. Adam Law is the physician in this practice. He also provides in-patient care for his patients who are admitted to Cayuga Medical Center, the local hospital in Ithaca. There are four nurse practitioners who work in collaboration with the physician, Anne Neirynck, Kathy Williams, Kristin Stevens, and Cynthia Schnedeker. A wonderful group of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses support the providers and assist in traditional nursing roles and also in the administrative roles of prior authorizations for medications, referrals and investigations. There is a support staff of four people who manage the administrative tasks. Medical billing is now located outside of the office at 607-229-8209 or billingoffice2000@yahoo.com. The office is fully computerized complete with electronic medical records and the building, with ample parking, is handicapped accessible. Dr. Law and his team of providers are committed to community centered medicine and to keeping a human scale in all patient-care provider interactions. This office is also the location of the Ithaca Diabetes Team, a multidisciplinary group of diabetes specialists recognized by the American Diabetes Association as a Diabetes Education Center. Team members include three who are certified diabetes educators (by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators) — Adam Law and Nancy Peckenpaugh who is a registered dietitian.
