Rosa Fang, N.P., Internal Medicine
Rosa Fang was born in China, grew up in Taiwan, graduated top of her class from National Taiwan University in Chemistry and Biological Sciences. She immigrated to United States, where she became a citizen and raised a family. Before entering nursing, she worked as an analytical chemist for over 10 years. Rosa obtained a R.N. degree from Tompkins Cortland Community College and a N.P. in Adult Health from Community General Hospital in Syracuse, New York. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Before joining this practice in 1995, Rosa worked for Planned Parenthood of Tompkins County for 6 years. Rosa’s philosophy of her profession can be expressed as follows: "A nurse practitioner plays an integral role in patients journey to 'total' health. In order to empower a patient to embark on his/her journey, I must utilize excellent interpersonal skills and provide my care with unconditional regard in a non-judgmental and loving manner."
