Theresa Kalb, NP
Theresa Kalb joined IthacaMed in December 2009. She received her RN from TC3 in 1994 and her BS in Community and Human Services in 2002 from Empire State College. As a nurse she has worked in a variety of settings including mental health and substance abuse, school health, long-term care, and homecare. Theresa returned to school to complete her Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Nursing from Stony Brook University in 2005. Prior to working with Dr. Law, she worked at Tioga Opportunities Family Health Services providing family planning care with a focus on education, health promotion and prevention. She also worked as an adjunct clinical instructor for TC3 in mental health and medical/surgical nursing. Theresa returned to homecare services in 2007, providing clinical oversight and management for clientele in several counties throughout the southern tier, routinely reaching out to the difficult to serve. She is committed to providing holistic, comprehensive care emphasizing community based services and home visitation to those in need. Theresa has been a local resident all her life and grew up in Tompkins County. She is married with three adult children. |
